Addendum

When preparing the documentation for this ICR, we discovered that the actual respondents, the State MVAs, are not seeing the Paperwork Reduction Act statement. This is because the nature of the collection (State MVAs send a name/SSN electronically to AAMVA, who sends it to SSA; SSA returns confirmation/denial of a match along the same route) does not allow for a PRA statement to be built into the system. Within a month, we will rectify this omission by e-mailing copies of the PRA statement below to all participating State MVAs. Thereafter, we will send a copy of the PRA statement to the State MVAs annually.
