Guide for In-Depth Interviews with
Health Care Consumers
Practices regarding Preventive Health Behaviors and Screenings
Note: IDIs will be conducted with consumers only if needed to follow up on the FG discussions. If conducted, the goal of the IDIs will be to further explore consumers’ personal experiences with lung cancer testing, specifically with consumers who have had spiral CT scans. IDI data will complement FG data by providing the opportunity to further explore participants’ knowledge, behavior, attitudes, and perceptions related to lung cancer screening and testing. While final IDI interview questions will depend upon the FG findings, possible domains, topics, and questions are provided under section II below.
