The CBCA requires the information
collected in order to conduct proceedings in contract appeals and
petitions, and cost applica- tions. Parties include those persons
or entities filing appeals petitions and cost applications, and
government agencies.
The burden increase is because
effective January 6, 2007, the boards of contract appeals that
existed at eight civilian agencies, including the General Services
Administration, were terminated, and their cases were transferred
to the new Civilian Board of Contract Appeals.

the collection of information encompassed by this request complies

1320.8(b)(3).
