1. Revision of Vidalia Onion Handler Report Form

The Vidalia Onion Committee made minor revisions to the Vidalia Onion Handler Report form. This is a Committee form not an FV form, therefore the “FV-181” form number assigned will be removed.

When the form was submitted in 2007, the Committee had entered into a contract with Weight Watchers as part of their promotional campaign that year.  They wanted to collect shipping data on the number of shipments made using the Weight Watcher’s logo.  The contract was for only one year.  Therefore, the Committee no longer needed to collect the data for the subsequent years.

To agree with language commonly used in the industry, the Committee has changed “handler” to “packer” and “producer” to “grower”. The Committee changed the format to group the more important questions addressing assessments in the first block of the new form.

2. Addition of Raisin Form developed from existing authority.

The Raisin Administrative Committee has developed a form, RAC-88, Application and Agreement for Cooperative Bargaining Association, On-Premise Inspection Services Relating to Raisins for the Crop Year 20XX” for existing authority under Marketing Order §989.158(f). The form will be filed annually by one applicant, the Raisin Bargaining Association, to apply to the Raisin Administrative Committee for the approval of on-premise inspection for natural condition raisins. The RAC’s terms and conditions are set forth in this form. The per response time is 5 minutes and will have no impact on burden.
