Update on Addresses Located in Recently Annexed Areas

In order to provide you with 2010 Census Local Update of Census Addresses (LUCA)
Feedback materials in a timely fashion, the Census Bureau created materials that may
vary from one another in your recently annexed areas. While your Feedback maps or
shapefiles include your recent Boundary and Annexation updates, addresses within these
areas may not appear on your Feedback Address Lists.

This will only occur in recently annexed areas and is due to the timing of various
MAF/TIGER Database update and processing operations and the need for rapid
processing for 2010 Decennial Census Field operations.

This will not affect the actual 2010 Decennial Census count for your jurisdiction since the
Census Bureau will run the process assigning these addresses to your jurisdiction before
beginning the 2010 Decennial Census Tabulation operation.

Thank you once again for participating in the 2010 Census LUCA Program. If you have
any questions regarding this issue, please contact your local Regional Census Center
using the information provided in your Feedback User Guide.
