The Department of Defense Education
Activity (DoDEA) receives requests from researchers to conduct
non-DoDEA sponsored research studies in DoDEA schools, districts,
and/or areas. To review the proposed research requests, DoDEA
developed DoDEA Form 2071.3-F1, Research Study Request, in DoDEA
Administrative Instruction 2071.3, to collect information about the
researcher, the research project, audience, timeline, and the
statistical analyses that will be conducted during the proposed
research study. The information gathered through this form is
necessary to ensure that the proposed non-DoDEA sponsored research
is of sound technical quality, adheres to all federal laws, and
does not unduly interfere with the classroom instructional
process.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).

benefit, or mandatory);
