Justification for Nonmaterial Change
This change request is being submitted for 0970-0139, Uniform Project Description (UPD). The UPD is a generic approval for the project description used in discretionary grants. A condition of approval is to request approval for the addition of two grant programs.
This request is to add CFDA number 93.658, Foster Care Title IV-E; and CFDA number 93.605, Family Connection Grants to the UPD list of approved programs. The CFDA descriptions and program announcements are attached.
The burden affect is estimated to add an additional ten responses at 40 hours per response for a total increase of 400 hours for CFDA 93.658, and for CFDA 93.605 an additional 60 responses at 40 hours per response for a total of 2,400 hours. The total increase burden for these two programs will be 2,800 hours. No additional cost burden is expected.
