Other Changes: Removing the Farm Service Agency’s (FSA) burden hours from RD-449-30 form which is included in Rural Development’s (RD) Guaranteed Loan Forms packet with the control number 0575-0137. The burden hours for the FSA-2254 form are approved under OMB control number 0560-0155.
The RD-449-30 will continue to be used by Rural Development (RD). The FSA-2254 will be used in place of the RD-449-30 for FSA purposes, which will correspond with the new automated loss claim process for FSA Guaranteed Lenders to update the status of each borrower’s loan and keep data for all guaranteed loans up to date in FSA accounting records.
The FSA-2254 will not impact the number of respondents or add any additional burden to the user of this form. Further, the FSA 2254 will assist Guaranteed Lenders in completing the new automating loss claim process within the FSA’s Guaranteed Loan System, resulting in faster turnaround time with loan servicing actions.
