SUBJECT : Request for OMB Approval of the Application Package for Grants
Under the Title V, Promoting Postbaccalaureate Opportunities for Hispanic Americans Program (OMB 1840-NEW)
The Office of Postsecondary Education is requesting that the Department and OMB approve a new application package for grants under the Title V, Promoting Postbaccalaureate Opportunities for Hispanic Americans (PPOHA) Program. The application package will be used to collect information to be used during the competitive cycle of the program as required by the program legislation. This is a new application package which allows for the preparation of an application package that is consistent with the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 (HEOA).
The new information collection will also be more closely adaptable to the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) performance measure results, as required by law. The attached Form OMB 83-I and supporting documents are being submitted as required.
