SUBJECT : Request for OMB Approval of the Application Package for the
Erma Byrd Scholarship Program
The Office of Postsecondary Education requests that you submit for Departmental and OMB approval the application package for the Erma Byrd Scholarship Program (EBSP). This is a new program created by the Omnibus Appropriations Act, 2009 and therefore has no previous OMB approval number. We are requesting approval of this package in order to invite new applications for EBSP awards to be used by students in fall 2009.
As a new program, the EBSP has no regulations.
We have attached the Information Collection Submission Worksheets Parts I and II and supporting documents, and the Application Package for the EBSP.
