You should have recently received a letter telling you about an important housing survey the Strategic Research Group is conducting for the Bureau of Labor Statistics. If you have already completed the survey, please accept our sincere thanks; there is nothing else you need to do. If you have not responded yet, we’d like to urge you to take a few minutes to do so now.

I am writing to you again because of the significance your response has for our study. By collecting this information by mail, it will help reduce the overall cost of the Consumer Price Index Housing Survey (mail is less expensive than calling or coming to your home). All answers will be kept confidential and will be used only for statistical purposes. Your participation is voluntary, but we would really appreciate your help.

In the event that your questionnaire has been misplaced, a replacement is enclosed along with a postage paid return envelope.
