The Trade Act Participant Report is a data collection and reporting system that supplies critical information on the operation of the Trade Adjustment Assistance program and the outcomes for its participants.
The proposed revision of OMB 1205-0392 ÂTrade Act Participant Report provides a single integrated collection format that will meet all of the new reporting requirements listed in amendments to the Trade Act of 1974 (19 USC 2311) through TGAAA, which is part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The new law mandates an extensive list of new data requirements that included specific data elements, display of data according to select criteria, performance measures, and control measures designed to enforce data reliability and validity on TAA program participation and outcome data. This collection is submitted as an emergency clearance because ARRA (Section 1891) mandates the implementation of the new criteria listed in 19 USC § 2323 et seq.), as amended, by August 17, 2009.
