The respondents are lenders,
counselors, and homeowners who are attempting to sell properties
prior to foreclosure. The information collection is a record of the
process from the borrower's application to participate in the
program and the lender's approval, to the Department's review and
approval of the specifics of the sale. Homeowners participating in
the program must also receive housing counseling and the
confirmation that the counseling has been performed must be
documented.
