Dear Tomato Processor:
Your report is needed in developing State and county data on processing tomatoes; trends in acreage and production practices are needed by the tomato industry and other supporting industries. The survey will be summarized and released in December. By law (Section 1770 Food Security Act of 1985) your report to us is confidential and may be used only for statistical purposes by this office. Only county total will be published to avoid revealing individual operations. All information concerning individual firms will be held confidential.
