approved collection (1010-0179)
This submission requests a program change. As of September 14, 2009, the final rule for 30 CFR 251 (1010-AD41) became effective (74 FR 40726). The collection of information associated with the rule (1010-0179, expiration August 31, 2012) consists of 3 burden hours relating to this part. The MMS is, therefore, consolidating the burden hours into the primary collection for 30 CFR 251, OMB Control Number 1010-0048 (expiration August 31, 2012). After OMB approves the consolidation, MMS will discontinue 1010-0179.
Also, this submission makes changes by clarifying language to form MMS-327, Application for Permit to Conduct G&G Exploration, which will better illustrate items included in the permit.
