Subject: PUBLIC COMMENT ON FEDERAL REGISTER
AMERICAN TAXPAYERS SIMPLY DO NOT NEED TO SPEND ONE CENT MORE ON TOBACCO USERS. IT IS LEGAL TO USE TOBACCO. SMOKERS HAVE HAD ALL OF THE FACTS ON TOBACCO FOR YEAR AND THEY IGNORE THOSE FACTS AND CONTINUE TO SMOKE. IT IS USELESS TO CONTINUE TO WASTE AMERICAN TAXDOLLARS ON THIS EFFORT. THIS IS NOT 1940 ANYMORE. THIS IS 2009 AND THE INFORMATION ON HOW TOBACCO HURTS HAS BEEN OUT THERE FOR MOR THAN 20 YEARS. IT IS TIME TO STOP THIS USELESS SPENDING, WHICH IS ACHIEVING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. WHEN WILL THE GOVT CATCH UP TO 2009 AND STOP OPERATING IN 1950MODE? GOVT ENTITIES LIKE TO CONTINUE INTO ETERNITY EVEN WHEN THERE IS NO LONGER A NEED FOR THEM. FIRE THE PART OF THE AGENCY DOING THIS WORK NOW. IT IS TIME TO SUNSET.

Good morning XXXXXX,
Thank you for your prompt response to my voice mail.
Please send me the data collection information for the National Adult Tobacco Survey (NATS) New – National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (NCCDPHP), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Staff is particularly interested to see if people had ever used tobacco and to determine when and why they chose to stop using.
I have copied the notice from the Federal Register for your information. Thank you again for your assistance. I greatly appreciate it.
