Requested Changes: 1) Addition of a new Information Collection (IC) and a new information collection instrument entitled “Application for Pacific Islands: Supplemental Funding for Tobacco Control, Diabetes Prevention and Control, and Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance.” This instrument will be used exclusively for respondents from the Pacific Islands. The estimated burden per response is 30 hours.
2) Reduction in the estimated number of respondents using the Application for Supplemental Funding for Healthy Communities, Tobacco Prevention and Control, and Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance.
Impact on Burden: The total estimated burden to respondents will decrease from 12,780 hours to 12,640 hours.
Justification: The new IC accurately reflects the application requirements for Pacific Islands and reduces the reporting requirements for these respondents.
