Terms of Clearance
OMB approves this collection consistent with the material clarifications made to the collection agreed on 4/25/07. Upon expiration of the collection, SSA has agreed to update OMB on the status of streamlining all redetermination forms (8202's and 8203's).
After a thorough review of the subject redetermination forms, SSA determined that combining the forms would not be advisable as we targeted them for specific audiences.
Revisions to the Collection Instrument
We are revising the PRA statement to reflect our current boilerplate language. The current language, which dates back to the last reprint of the form, is now outdated.
SSA's Office of the General Counsel is conducting a systematic review of SSA's Privacy Act Statements on agency forms. As a result, SSA is updating the Privacy Act Statement on this form.
