Form 990-W is used by tax-exempt trusts and tax-exempt corporations to figure estimated tax liability on unrelated business income and on investment income for private foundations and the amount of each installment payment. There were no significant changes to the form from what was previously approved by OMB however, separation of the burden between the various parts of the form revealed some double computation in previous burden calculations. The estimated number of responses has decreased by 9,820 and the total estimated burden decreased by 167,082 hours.
