1513-0031 Clarification of the number of respondents

In the January 15, 2009 NOA, OMB asked that we clarify the number of respondents before our next submission. We are about to submit this collection so we are providing this explanation. The number 1 represented the number of bonds that was actually received by TTB in the 12 month period, August 2007 through August 2008. However, the number of respondents required by 27 CFR 28.63 and 28.64 to use these bonds includes all of the Distilled Spirits Plants and Wineries that transport alcohol beverages to Manufacturing Bonded Warehouses, and not all proprietors required to use these bonds have been doing so. Our current estimates are that the number of respondents required to use these forms is 5 for each form, for a total of 10 respondents. Therefore, in the next submission, we will increase the number of respondents to 10.
