JUSTIFICATION FOR CHANGE
TRAWL IDENTIFICATION OF OWNERSHIP INTEREST

The National Marine Fisheries Service, Northwest Region, is requesting minor changes to the
“Trawl Identification of Interest” form:
1. Grammatical changes to make the language more clearer and accurate.
2. Clarification that those with 2% or less ownership interest in a business entity, while not
required to report, may still do so if they choose.
3. Changes in language regarding business entities, from plural to singular.
There is no change to burden and cost resulting from these minor changes to the form.
