JUSTIFICATION FOR CHANGE

NORTHEAST REGION PERMIT FAMILY OF FORMS

OMB CONTROL NO. 0648-0202

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Marine Fisheries Service would like to merge the contents of OMB Control No. 0648-0561, Framework Adjustment 4 to the Monkfish Fishery Management Plan, into OMB Control No. 0648-0202, “Northeast Region Permit Family of Forms.” This merger will add the only information collection in OMB Control No. 0648-0561 “Monkfish Days at Sea Vessel Monitoring System Declaration”: 13,950 responses, 1,158 hours and $6,975 in reporting/recordkeeping costs. After this change request is approved, OMB Control No. 0648-0561 will be discontinued.
