Justification for change
In order to comply with the new vaccination requirements for immigrants and refugees that the Center for Disease Control has mandated, the Visa Office of the Department of State (CA/VO) has redesigned the current vaccination form (DS-3025) to add the additional vaccinations.
The addition of these new required vaccinations has caused an increase in burden costs. The burden has been adjusted to reflect this addition--an estimated increase of $50 an applicant, which will raise the total cost burden by $31,500,000.
