SUBJECT : Request for OMB Approval of the Application Package for

Grants Under the Title III, Part A Tribally Controlled Colleges

and Universities Program (TCCU) (OMB 1840-NEW)

The Office of Postsecondary Education requests that you submit for Departmental and OMB approval, the application package for grants under the Tribally Controlled Colleges and Universities (TCCU) Program. The application package will be used to collect information to be used during the competitive cycle of the program as required by the program legislation. The previous Title III, Part A multi-application package was allowed to lapse in order to separate our programs to simplify the application process and program competitions. This allowed for the preparation of an application package that is consistent with the changes necessitated by the passage of the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) of 2008.

This new information collection will be more closely adaptable to the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) performance measure results, as required by law. The attached IC Data forms and supporting documents are being submitted as required.
