Owners and operators of sewage sludge incinerators are required to monitor, record, and under specified circumstances, report the following: the pressure drop across the control device, oxygen content of the incinerator exhaust gas, temperature profile of the incinerator, sludge feed rate to the incinerator, and the moisture and volatile content of the sludge. Metals testing would be required during the initial performance test. Semiannual reports of excess emissions are also required.
