As we mentioned in the letter, The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (or NIOSH) is conducting a major study of professions devoted to protecting the safety and health of workers, including the training programs for these types of professionals. NIOSH funds programs that train these types of professionals, so this study will help to determine the agency’s future funding priorities. We are attempting to survey all education and training programs in the nation, such as yours, that produce professionals in fields related to occupational safety and health programs.
