Staffing is critical to meeting program standards for data completeness, timeliness and accuracy and is the largest part of the program budgets. There are no guidelines to access the number of staff needed for central cancer registries, thus staffing varies greatly from program to program. The WLM Study results will provide technical assistance to the programs by providing information to advocate for staffing to assure complete reporting (Title 42, Chapter 6a).
