U.S. CENSUS BUREAU
In May, we mailed you a duplicate 2010 Annual Capital Expenditures Survey (ACES)
form. We have not received a response. In case you have misplaced our prior mailings,
we are enclosing another duplicate form. By completing and returning this form, you
will provide valuable input to our nation’s system of economic statistics and help the
Census Bureau to reduce the cost of further follow-up work. We remind you that Title 13
of the United States Code requires that you respond to this survey. If you recently
submitted your response, we thank you and ask that you disregard this notice.
The ACES survey can also be completed online using Centurion, our secure interactive
Internet program. To file electronically using Centurion, go to
http://bhs.econ.census.gov/BHS/acesict/index.html.
If book figures are not available, we accept reasonable estimates. If you have questions,
need help completing the survey, or need an extension of time for filing, please call 1800-528-3049. If you feel this survey does not apply to your operations, or if you did not
operate in 2010, please explain these facts in the “Remarks” section of the paper or
electronic form and return the form to us by mail, fax (to 1-888-300-5192), or by using
Centurion.
