FOURTH REQUEST
FROM THE CHIEF,
COMPANY STATISTICS DIVISION
U.S. CENSUS BUREAU
We still have not received your response to the 2010 Information and Communication
Technology Survey form originally mailed to you in March. Title 13 of the United States
Code requires that you respond to this survey. If you recently submitted a response, we
thank you and ask that you disregard this notice.
It is important that this survey be completed. As explained in an earlier letter, the data
collected on the survey are a key source of information about our country’s economic
performance. Data on business investment in information and communication
technology that falls below a company’s capitalization threshold help economists to
assess prospects for future productivity and economic growth. In addition, the data are an
improved source of information for official estimates of the investment component of
Gross Domestic Product, and U.S. capital stock and capital flows.
We are enclosing a duplicate form. The survey can also be completed online using
Centurion. To file electronically using this user-friendly application, go to
http://bhs.econ.census.gov/BHS/acesict/index.html.
If book figures are not available, we accept reasonable estimates. If you have questions,
need help completing the survey, or need an extension of time for filing, please call 1800-528-3049. Thank you for your cooperation and your contribution to this survey.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey L. Mayer
