Annual Mandatory Collection of Elementary and Secondary
 Education Data for EDFacts (1875-0240) 
Terms of Clearance

1.  ED has verbally updated OMB as it has continued to merge the collection of the Common Core of Data with EDEN/EDFacts.
2.  ED has provided the State data providers with the annual timelines for submitting specific data to EDEN/EDFacts and has developed and provides the States with submission management reports to monitor and measure their progress.
3.  ED has not made a phase-in policy available on its website but instead deals with each State provider on each of the individual challenges it has in providing data to the EDEN/EDFacts data system.
4.  ED has continued to provide OMB with verbal updates on the plans, policies, procedures, and progress of the ED elementary and secondary education data governance group within ED.  This group meets monthly.
5.  ED has continued to provide OMB with verbal updates on the continuing expansion of the use of EDFacts as more and more of the federal program offices become knowledgeable of the data available through EDEN/EDFacts.
