Section 90.179 requires that licensees
that share radio facilities with others who are not licensees keep
a list of station users and sharing agreement as part of the
station records. The recordkeeping requirement is necessary to
identify users of the systems should interference problems occur.
The reporting requirement and/or third party disclosure requirement
is for the sharing agreement requirements. This information is used
by the Commission to investigate interference complaints and
resolve interference and operational complaints that may arise
among the users.
