Supporting Statement – Part B
Collections of Information Employing Statistical Methods
1. There will be 50 possible respondents (States) to the survey. There will not be any sampling or other respondent selection method used for this collection. There is no data to be provided in tabular form for the universe as a whole. We anticipate 50 responses for the collection as a whole. This collection has not been collected previously.
2. There will be no statistical methodology employed for stratification and sample selection, no estimation procedure, no degree of accuracy measure will be needed. There are no unusual problems requiring specialized sampling procedures, and the collection will only be required once.
3. CMS has continued outreach to States to ensure adequate responses to the survey. If States are non responsive, CMS will seek to gather this information through conference calls with the States.
4. There are no tests of procedures or methods to be undertaken.
