VISTA 101: Understanding VISTA online tutorial



The VISTA Program of the Corporation for National and Community Service is developing an online tutorial for potential VISTA sponsors called “VISTA 101: Understanding VISTA.” The purpose of the tutorial is to inform potential sponsors about the requirements and benefits of VISTA sponsorship, and help them decide whether VISTA is right for their organization. 


The VISTA Program would like to conduct a brief, anonymous online survey of individuals who view the tutorial to gather feedback its effectiveness and to gauge the respondent’s interest in becoming a VISTA sponsor.


There are two categories of respondents that VISTA would like to survey, and slightly different question sets to ask of each. This set is for those Individuals who view part of the tutorial, but exit without completing it.

  1. How effective was this orientation in helping you make an informed decision on whether to become a VISTA sponsor? <Likert scale>

  2. Are you still interested in becoming a VISTA sponsor? <yes / no / not sure> 

  3. Why or why not? <open-ended>

 


The survey will be administered automatically as the viewer exits the tutorial. A window will appear with the survey questions. Responses will be automatically collected in a database, and reports will draw from that database.
