Topic Area 3: Trip Behaviors – responses to this question will allow us to sort visitors into either the high use zone or the low use zone established for the carriage roads. Different standards exist for the number of behaviors in each zone. The respondent will use a map provided by the interviewer to indicate the route(s) taken during their visit.

Topic Area 5: Crowding and Visitor Experiences - responses to this question will allow us to calculate the average number of occurrences for each behavior in each zone to compare with established standards and past monitoring efforts.

Topic Area 3: Trip Behaviors - this question will let us know how many carriage road visitors are using the new Island Explorer bus to access the carriage roads. This is important because use of the bus may change the locations used to access the carriage roads or the way carriage roads are used (for example, more one-way trips may take place).

Topic Area 3: Trip Behaviors - this question will allow us to track the number of one way trips on the carriage roads. Too many one-way trips would invalidate the current simulation model, which was built based on the round trips from the same point.
