Say to the child: You and I are going to spend some time talking about the National Children’s Study (NCS) study; you know, the one you just saw on the video with your mom/dad. I will ask you a question about the study, and you let me know whether you feel the answer for you is “No” (a ) or “Yes” (a ). If you are not sure, then choose the middle one (a ). Let’s try a couple of practice questions so I can be sure that you understand how this works. I’ll read the question and you mark the answer. (Note: Examiner can mark subsequent answers for younger children.)
