Attachment 1: Recruitment Flier
Do
you have a disability that makes it difficult for you to work?
If
so, you might be eligible to participate in a Boston University
research study looking at improving questions that assess a person’s
ability to function in daily activities.
Boston
University's Health and Disability Research Institute is working with
the National Institutes of Health and the Social Security
Administration to develop more comprehensive questionnaires for their
work disability evaluation process. We are currently recruiting
working age adults with some limitations in their functioning in
daily activities.
The
interview would provide us with feedback regarding how clear
questions are, whether you understand the meaning of questions and
wording, and whether the questions are relevant to working age
adults. It should take no more than an hour of your time and it can
be done at location that is convenient for you.
Any
and all information you provide to us will be kept secure and private
to the extent provided by law. You will not be identified by name in
any research publications. You will receive $20 as a thank you for
your time.
If
you would like more information and to find out if you qualify,
