Justification for change
We are requesting a non substantive change to OMB 0923-0043, Creation of State and Metropolitan Area Based Surveillance Projects for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), expiration date April 30, 2014
The original protocol indicated that 4-6 metropolitan areas would be selected to participate, however only three, Philadelphia, Detroit, and Atlanta, had been selected at the time of the original OMB application. Three additional metropolitan areas have now been selected, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. At the time of approval, OMB requested notification when the additional metropolitan areas were selected. The original burden estimate was done for six metropolitan areas.
