Additional Administrative Changes Needed to Instructions
In the ROCIS clearance package for the FERC-552, there is a posted document that requires administrative changes to reflect an increase in estimated burden for this collection and to update the contact information for the FERC information clearance officer and OMB Desk Officer.
The document that requires change is the “FERC Form 552”. In the section labeled “Instructions for Filing the FERC Form 552”, section V must be updated as follows. NOTE: the track changes function was used below to indicate and facilitate review of the needed changes.
“The public reporting burden for the FERC Form No. 552 collection of information is estimated to average 104 hours per response, including the time for reviewing instructions, searching existing data sources, gathering and maintaining the data-needed, and completing and reviewing the collection of information. This estimate was noted in the Notice of Purposed Rulemaking and in the Final Rule (RM07-10-000) and addressed by commenters.
Filers may send additional comments regarding these burden estimates or any aspect of these this collections of information, including suggestions for reducing burden, to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street NE, Washington, DC 20426 (Attention: Information Clearance Officer, Office of the Executive Director), e-mail: [email protected], Phone: (202) 502-8663, fax: (202) 273-0873); and to the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, Office of Management and Budget, Washington, DC 20503 (Attention: Desk Officer for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission). For security reasons, comments should be sent by e-mail to OMB at [email protected]. No person shall be subject to any penalty if any collection of information does not display a valid control number (44 U.S.C. § 3512 (a)).”
