• Purpose of the Study: The purpose of this research study is to evaluate the DVD called
“The Lab” and determine whether you might use it in a course on the responsible conduct
of research integrity.
• Procedures to be followed: You will be asked to answer a number of questions on a
questionnaire about research integrity training (including a new teaching tool called "The
Lab"), your educational background and demographics, and your opinions on the
quality/usefulness of research integrity training materials.
• Duration: Depending on your answers, the questionnaire will take about 15 to 30 minutes
to complete.
• Statement of Confidentiality: Your participation in this research is confidential. The
questionnaire does not ask for any personallyidentifying information. Any publication or
presentation of the research will only provide estimates aggregated across the entire
sample and no information on individuals.
• Right to Ask Questions: Please contact Dennis Dever at [email protected] with
questions or concerns about this study.
