We understand that you have not been interested in participating in the NLSY97 in the past several years and respect that decision. We appreciate your willingness to spend fewer than 10 minutes with us to answer questions that will help us understand who is missing from our survey and how we can improve our communication with the very generous individuals who originally participated in this research.

1. This study is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics. This study is voluntary, and you may decline to answer specific questions. You also may end the interview at any point. You will receive $15.00 as a token of appreciation for answering these questions. Personal identifiers such as name and address will be held in confidence and will not be released to the public without your consent. All personnel associated with this study have signed a legal document in which they pledge to protect the confidentiality of the information that survey participants provide.
