Dear Veteran:

Researchers at the Veterans Affairs Medical Centers at Salt Lake City, UT are conducting a study of Gulf War Veterans (First Gulf War, 1990-1991). This study aims to understand the mechanisms of bowel disorders in Gulf War Veterans. The results of this study may offer better care to Veterans or to anybody who travels abroad.

We are surveying all Gulf War Veterans (1990-1991). If you are a Gulf War Veteran you qualify for the study- whether you are healthy or have any medical issues.

The results of this study will be more meaningful if every Gulf Veteran participates in this study. Your participation in the study is critical to the success of this study.

You will be receiving the study survey in the mail in 10 days. Please answer all questions and return it in the pre-paid stamped envelope. We will compensate you for your time.
