The Department of Labor requires
financial data for the Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) and
NAFTA-TAA programs administered by States. The required data are
necessary in order to meet statutory requirements prescribed in the
Trade Act of 1974, as amended by the Trade Adjustment Assistance
Act of 2002, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009
(Division B, Title I, Subtitle I); the Omnibus Trade and
Competitiveness Act of 1988 and the North American Free Trade
Act.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
