Program change

The second follow-up full scale data collection forthe Baccalaurcate and Beyond Longiludinal Study of
200a12012 {B&B:08h2) is cunently Lrnderway (July 2012 thfough March 2013). The p mary pupose of the B&B
sedes of studies is lo descdbe the vaaious paths of receni college graduates into employmenl and additional
education. Baseline data fofthe B&B:08 cohort were collecied as part ofthe National Postsecondary Student Aid
Study (NPSAS:08). The first follori/-up interview (B&B:08/09) collected information from respondents one year
afterthey received their bachelo.'s degree;the secofld follow-up (8&8108/12) is collecting data four yeals after
bachelols degfee receipt. Interview dala are supplemented with a variety of administrative data sources,
including the Centfal Processing System (CPS), lhe National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS), and the
National Sludent Cleafinghouse (NSC). This change fequests is to make a change to the incentive procedLlrc
that was appfoved as part ofthe B&B:08/12 rcsponsive design model, to incrcase response rates. We arc
requesting to re-allocate a portion ofthe tolal incentive amounl offered to potential rcspondents, so that $5 is
orcpaid and the balance paid upon interview completion.
