Today the RAND Corporation, an independent non-profit research organization, is contacting families to update the study’s records on the best ways to reach them in the future.

Given that it has been a while since we were last in touch with you, we would like to make sure we have the best contact information for you and <NAME OF CHILD>. We would also like to ask you a few questions about how you and your child are doing. Thanks to your participation over the years, we have learned a lot about children’s growth and development. The project has been so successful and the information has been so valuable that the government hopes to continue to follow the same children to learn how participation in Early Head Start or other child care programs affects children’s learning when the children are older. If you could take a few minutes to help us update our records so we might reach you in the future, that would be greatly appreciated.
