Issue: TRANSTECH 40 with maximum advertised download speed in tier 7, lower than expected value range for technology.

Resolution: Provider representative stated: "The speeds are the same for the areas with and without FTTH. The technology type is DOCSIS 3.0 is for all of our BB service – the speeds are the same as well."



BellSouth Telecommunications, Inc.

Issue: TRANSTECH 10 with maximum advertised download speed in tier 7, higher than expected value range for technology.

Resolution: "9-4-12 Greg verified they have speed tier 7 for their MAD speed for Asymmetric DSL. They use a technology to increase their speeds for their DSL services.

He also noted that their LTE Mobility is also running at speed tier 7, 1- 25 mbps. He was also asked this question by outreach in other states."



Blue One Communications, Inc.

Issue: TRANSTECH 10 with maximum advertised download speed in tier 7, higher than expected value range for technology.

Resolution: This provider is a reseller of DSL connections. Footprint contains records that generate warnings in the NTIA script representing AT&T and Windstream. AT&T and Windstream have verified that they can supply service at tier 7.

Resolution: The maximum advertised download speeds in tiers 7 and 8 were verified by Brandenburg - they have upgraded their systems and coverage.

Resolution: Provider stated they have not "turned up" Docsis 3.0 to higher speeds yet. (stated last round…using current data but has warnings for TT40)

Resolution: Provider representative state that they can provide 50 MBps speeds for their DSL if near one of their MM points.
