Recently, we conducted a survey of European researchers on their patenting behavior. The
survey results will be used by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to
improve international patent policy.
Although you did not respond to the survey, we would like your response to a shorter survey
which will be used to validate the results of the original survey.
The nonresponse survey consists of five multiple choice questions, all of which can be
