We are working with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to investigate
European researchers’ patenting behavior.
We reviewed over ten thousand academic research articles for patentable subject matter. You
are receiving this email because we determined that your article, [Article], contained
potentially patentable subject matter.
In approximately one week, you will receive another email with a link to the survey and
additional instructions. The survey will consist of approximately fifteen multiple choice
questions, all of which can be completed electronically.
All responses are anonymous, and your responses will be joined to those of other participants.
