SUBJECT: Non-Substantive Change Request to 0990-0392
On October 18, 2011 OMB approved The Office of Adolescent Health/ACYF’s TPP Program performance measures information collections package (0990-0392). OAH is not requesting an amendment to the current package’s data collection, but would like to add a new activity to be conducted at a separate time.
In collaboration with ACYF and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, OAH will be surveying its TPP grantees to determine which evidence-based programs they have been trained on and who the contact person is to arrange a future training. Data will be collected using Survey Monkey, most likely in February or March, and the burden on grantees will be minimal. Grantees will be informed up front that the survey is voluntary and will be asked if OAH can share the information collected with other grantees. The Survey Monkey questions will ask TPP grantees to indicate which of the 31 evidence-based TPP programs the grantee organization has staff trained and to indicate a contact person and their email address or phone number to include in a resource directory.
OAH, in collaboration with ACYF and CDC, plans to use the data collected to develop a resource directory of organizations with staff trained in the 31 different evidence-based teen pregnancy prevention programs.
