The information collected ensures that remotely controlled switches are lined so as to protect the lives and maintain the safety of railroad employees who are working on track in crews or who are occupying camp cars. The information is collected to assure compliance with the Rail Safety Improvement Act of 1988. This submission is a request for a revision of the previous approval granted by OMB on September 21, 2010, which expires on September 30, 2013.
