Summary of Revisions

The proposed changes to this ICR are as follows:

1) The state-level questionnaires have been eliminated. This creates a large decrease in burden.

2) In the previous ICR, the study was approved to be conducted at the state, district, school, and classroom levels in 2012. Because of insufficient funding, it was conducted only at the state and district levels in 2012. This new ICR spreads data collection over 2 study years, so that the school- and classroom-level data collection planned for 2012 will now be conducted in 2014, and a new cycle of district-level data collection will be conducted in 2016. As noted above, this creates a large decrease in burden because the state-level questionnaires will no longer be fielded.

3) The state recruitment must now occur twice—once for the 2014 school- and classroom-level data collection and once for the 2016 district-level data collection. This creates a slight increase in burden.

4) The district recruitment must now occur twice—once for the 2014 school- and classroom-level data collection and once for the 2016 district-level data collection. This creates a slight increase in burden.

5) The questionnaires for the 2016 district-level data collection will be modified slightly from the previous ICR, but these changes will not result in any change in burden.
